GHOST WRITING

Want to produce a book, but don't have time to write it? Partner with a ghost writer.

Three distinct phases:

Research

I would begin by conducting an in-depth interview with you to determine your goals, objectives, concept, resources, etc. Depending on the topic, It may also be necessary to interview friends, colleagues and family members to add some depth to the book or to search secondary resources (books, magazines, etc.) for content. This information will be used to develop the content in a focused and appealing way. This phase could take 2-4 weeks.

Writing

Once the background information is obtained, I would begin writing. Within the following month, you will receive a draft of 2-3 chapters to make sure we’re moving in the right direction. After that you will receive the completed first draft of the manuscript. It is anticipated that the writing process will take approximately 4 months.

Editing/Revisions

With the manuscript in hand, you will be asked to review it and provide comments and revisions. Several rounds of editing (2-3) will likely occur before the final product is completed.
